Nook & Burrow book box november Kate Morton

Nook & Burrow Book Club - November

Welcome to the Nook & Burrow Book Club!

At Nook & Burrow, we're passionate about building community and forming connection through books and reading. That's why we formed this book club and we hope you are excited to join us.

As this is one of our first ever Nook & Burrow Book Clubs, we want to give you all the details. Here they are.

What book are we all reading?

We have chosen Kate Morton's brand-new book The Clockmaker's Daughter, as the book we'll read during the month of November.

Kate is the author of five novels, all of which have been New York Times bestsellers, Sunday Times bestsellers and #1 bestsellers around the world. The Clockmaker's Daughter is told by multiple voices across time. It's a story of murder, mystery and thievery, of art, love and loss. And flowing through its pages like a river, is the voice of a woman who stands outside time, whose name has been forgotten by history, but who has watched it all unfold: Birdie Bell, the clockmaker’s daughter. Just a quick side note, Kate was born in South Australia (yay for local gals).

You can read more about the book here.

Where can I get my hands on the book?

Funny you should ask, we've created the perfect accompaniment for this book club: The Nook & Burrow Book Club Box! Inside the book, you will find:

When does the book club take place?

Here's a quick timeline of events:

26 October: Nook & Burrow Book Club Box is available to order and will be dispatched from our studio in Melbourne to our book clubbers

1 November: Official start of the book club reading (you can start as early or late as you like, really)

30 November: Live and interactive Facebook book club discussion

Do I have to buy the box to be part of the book club?

No! Anyone and everyone is welcome to take part in this month-long read-a-long. However, the Nook & Burrow Book Club Box is a great way to get your hands on the book and some extra limited-edition bookish items!

Where will we discuss the book club?

Join our Facebook group to stay up to date with us and your fellow book club members. We'll be checking in throughout November and we're keen for all participants to share their reading journey with the Facebook group.

This is where we'll come together on 30 November to discuss our thoughts on The Clockmaker's Daughter. Also, feel free to share your reading journey on Twitter and Instagram with the hashtag #nookandburrowbookclub
